No — never. You pay one flat subscription. Deposits settle directly into your own M-Pesa till via a Paystack sub-account; Karamu never takes a percentage of your covers.
How can I pay for Karamu?
M-Pesa, or card (Visa / Mastercard via Paystack). You pay in your local currency — KES or USD.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade whenever you like, and cancel anytime. If you leave, you keep your data — a full CSV export of every guest and booking, plus your revenue reports.
Are M-Pesa transaction fees included?
Safaricom charges roughly 0.5% per transaction, paid to them — not to us. Karamu adds nothing on top of that.
What counts as a “venue”?
One physical location. Lite and Pro are billed per venue. Chain bundles multiple venues under one account with central billing.
Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
No setup fee on Lite or Pro. Chain includes a one-time dedicated onboarding so every location goes live the same way.
What do I save by paying annually?
Two months. Annual billing is 10× the monthly price — twelve months for the price of ten.
